Representatives of the Agency for the Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, led by Deputy Director Mr Tijana Stanković, were in a two-day study visit to the University of Ljubljana within the Erasmus+ structural project „Fostering Internationalization at Montenegrin HEIs through Efficient Strategic Planning – IESP “.
The aim of the IESP project is to enhance the international competitiveness of the participating Montenegrin universities by providing the best capacity building model for various aspects of internationalization. As a result of the two-year project, the Strategy of Internationalization for Higher Education and Summer Schools and Study Programs in English will be prepared. The visit to the University of Ljubljana is the first study visit planned within this project and aimed at presenting the best practices of the University of Ljubljana in the field of internationalization. During the visit, the University of Ljubljana Internationalization Strategy was presented, with a strategic approach to establishing international partnerships, participation in international programs, networks and associations. Centers and offices at the University of Ljubljana level who participate in the creation of internationalization policy and provide expert support in its implementation were presented as well as the Slovenian Higher Education Internationalization Strategy.
Coordinator of the IESP project is the University of Montenegro and partners in the project are: University of Donja Gorica, University of the Mediterranean, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science, Agency for Quality Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, University of Ljubljana, University of Cadiz and University of Cote d’Azure from Nice.
