Acting Director of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education

 

Goran Danilović

Goran Danilović was born on January 5, 1971. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić, at the Department of Philosophy where he acquired the title of Graduate Professor of Philosophy. In October 2021 he was appointed to the position of Acting Director of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education. He is a former Member of the Parliament of Montenegro (2016-2020) and Minister of the Interior of Montenegro since 2016. Prior to his position as Minister of the Interior, he was a Member of the Parliament of Montenegro (2001-2016).

He was a member of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants (2012-2016), Deputy Chairman of the Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro for a one-year term, member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (2009-2015). He was also a member of the Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro (2006-2012) and a candidate for the mayor of Podgorica in 2006. He started his career as a journalist at the National Public Broadcaster ‘RTCG’ (1996-1998) initially as an associate journalist and later as an editorial journalist. He is one of the founders of ‘Radio Svetigora,’ deputy editor (1998-1999) and editor of the renewed daily newspaper ‘Glas Crnogorca’ (1999-2001).

He is the author of travel TV reports in the field of culture and spirituality – ‘Sveta Gora’ (Mount Athos) 1998, ‘Istorija Pravoslavlja’ (History of Orthodoxy) 2000, ‘Putevima Istoka/Kapadokija’ (Roads of the East/Cappadocia) 2000. He was the editor-in-chief of the largest multimedia project in Southeast Europe ‘Kosovo i Metohija lice Evrope’ (Kosovo and Metohija the Face of Europe), advisor on the project ‘Srbija zemlja sporta’ (Serbia, Country of Sports), advisor on the project ‘100 godina ponosa i slave’ (100 Years of Pride and Glory ) in 2013. He is the author of the collections of poems: ‘Riječi i reči’, ‘Drhtaj u prutu’ and ‘Lunavo’. He is the father of two children; he speaks Russian.

 

 

 


Deputy Director for Quality Control

Maja Radunović, MA

Maja Radunović was born on 7 January 1985 in Podgorica, where she graduated from primary school and then graduated from the secondary school in America. She graduated in 2009 at the Faculty of Political and Social Science, the State University Pantheon, Athens, the Republic of Greece, Mayoring in Mass media, communicology and civilization sciences, while the specialist studies in the field of Mass media, communication and culturology she finished at the University Viltaneusse in Paris. She finished her MSc studies in 2014 from the University in Antwerp, Mayoring the Rule and Management, covering the topic of ‘’Ethnic Heterogeneity and Montenegro’’.
Her professional carrier started in 2009 in the Ministry of Defense where, after completion of her internship, she was engaged in the Department of International Cooperation as Officer for bilateral defense cooperation with the Republic of Greece, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, etc. After that, in 2015 her carrier continued in the Sector for Development Projects as Head of the Department for Supporting and Monitoring the Development Projects. Following the Decision of the Government of Montenegro, in the period from August 2017 to January 2018, she covered the position of Acting Secretary to the Secretariat for the Development Projects. Since September 2018, she has been covering the position of Deputy Director for Quality Control in the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education.
During her studies she was a member of the Greek Olympic Committee (participation in the Olympic and Paraolympic Games (Athens 2004) and Eurovision (Athens 2006) in a capacity of Translator and Assistant to the organization, Assistant to the Marketing Sector, TNT Agency, Athens, Republic of Greece and as Assistant in the Sector for Public Relations, AEPI (Agency for the protection of copyrights and intellectual artists’ rights), Athens, Republic of Greece.
In 2010 she obtained the license of the Sworn Court Interpreter for Greek language, which was renewed in 2017. In addition to the Greek language, she speaks English and French. She is married and the mother to one child.


Deputy Director for Quality Assurance and Research

Tijana Stanković, MSci

 

Tijana Stanković was appointed to the position of the Deputy Director of ACQAHE in September 2018. Before appointment she worked in the Government of Montenegro as an adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System and Deputy Minister of Finance for Economic Policy and Development in the fields of macroeconomics, public finance and structural reforms. In that period she coordinated Government documents in the field of economy: annual «Programme of Economic Reforms» (2011-2015), National Plan «Directions for Development of Montenegro 2013 – 2015» (2011-2013), Proposal Law on Public-Private Partnership (2016), comprehensive and consistent plan of structural reforms «Reforms for Competitiveness 2020» (2016), etc. She started her career as an associate to the Deputy President of the Privatization Council and continued in the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognoses (ISSP) as a researcher, and later as an analyst in the field of prices and inflation and reform of the pension system. She studied pension systems in her MSc thesis which she defended in the postgraduate studies «Entrepreneurship Economy» in the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica.

Her position of the leader of the pension system reform component in the World Bank project gave her an opportunity to participate in the process of development of the new institutional and legal framework for the pension system in Montenegro. Tijana worked as a part time lecturer in the Centre of Excellence for Finance in Ljubljana. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Comprehensive Grammar School in Pogorica, where she lives with her family.
