The second transnational meeting was held within the project “MOOC – based micro-credentials for the professional development of lecturers – Cred4Teach”

Within the framework of the “MOOC – based Micro-Credentials for Teacher Professional Development – CRED4TEACH” project, a two-day meeting was organized on April 25 and 26, 2024. The meeting was hosted by the Mediterranean University in Podgorica. The meeting brought together representatives of 15 institutions that make up the project consortium from 7 countries: Albania, Estonia, Germany, Montenegro, Portugal, Turkey and Ukraine.

The aim of the two-day meeting was to analyze the activities implemented within the work packages in the project (WP2 and WP3), as well as to plan the next joint activities. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of creating a national and institutional framework for the development of micro-credentials.

Through the teamwork of representatives of agencies and institutions of higher education, the possibilities that partners can manage when creating and defining the national and institutional framework for the development of micro-credentials are presented. Also, the partners mentioned the challenges they face, especially in the area of legal regulation.

The partner’s task in the coming period is to create a national and institutional framework for the development of micro-credentials, which will be presented at the beginning of October this year at a conference organized by the University of Vlora. In this regard, the Montenegrin team consisting of representatives of ACQAHE and institutions of higher education will focus their efforts on even more intensive cooperation, in order to meet the already defined deadlines at the meeting with partners.
