Micro-credentials are small units of learning (one or more subjects, a course, module, etc.) within a study programme or a special programme in higher education, or stand-alone units, carrying up to 15 ECTS credits, described in terms of learning outcomes, which may or may not lead to the acquisition of a micro-qualification.<\/p>\n
Micro-credentials leading to a micro-qualification are accredited by the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.<\/p>\n
