Representatives of the Agency for Quality Assurance and Control of Higher Education attended the final meeting of the Project Management Board within the project “Strengthening internationalization at Montenegrin universities through effective strategic planning<\/a>” – IESP, which was held at the Maritime Faculty in Kotor on November 10th-11th.<\/p>\n

The meeting was an opportunity for the final presentation of the activities, implemented according to the work packages, during the two-year duration of the project. On this occasion, ACQAHE was highlighted as a partner that provided support for the development of the Internationalization Strategy of Higher Education Institutions in Montenegro, but also as a partner that successfully implemented the process of accreditation of international and interdisciplinary summer schools “Entrepreneurship in Heritage Tourism” at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management<\/a> and “Sustainable development of the yachting and cruising industry” at the Maritime Faculty in Kotor<\/a>. The mentioned summer schools, as a product of activities within the framework of the IESP project, represent the best example of internationalization and increasing the visibility of our higher education institutions in the international community.<\/p>\n

ACQAHE provided support to University of Montenegro<\/a> during the preparation of the summer school accreditation application, and at the same time, for the first time, analyzed ways to accredit it, which was a kind of pioneering undertaking. The aforementioned support included the interpretation of legal regulations, the definition of detailed procedures, as well as the analysis of deadlines.<\/p>\n

In the end, the partners agreed that the IESP project gave immeasurable importance to the system of higher education in Montenegro, and in a unique way helped to raise that system on the international scale of quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
