Representatives of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, headed by the director prof. dr Sr\u0111a Popovi\u0107, were in a six-day study visit to Slovenia within the project “Strengthening the capacity for the implementation of dual education in Montenegrin higher education – DUALMON<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the project is to improve the competencies of higher education graduates in Montenegro, through the development of a generic model of dual education (DUALMON model) and a legal framework for the introduction of dual education to support different needs and interests of students, companies, higher education institutions in the country and to provide the recommendations to the higher education institutions for the implementation of dual education in Montenegro.<\/p>\n

\"\"The study visit to Slovenia is the first study visit planned within this project and aimed to bring the project participants closer to the way of functioning and implementation of dual education in Slovenia. During the visit, the project participants visited the Higher Education College Academia<\/a> in Maribor, where they were introduced to the way the institution works and their implementation of dual education. The training was also held at the academy by representatives of the University of Applied Sciences FH Joanneum Graz<\/a> from Austria, where the implementation of dual education in Austria was discussed. During the study visit, the project participants visited the Higher Vocational College for Wood and Design<\/a> and the Higher Vocational College for Hospitality and Tourism<\/a> in Maribor, as well as the Higher Vocational College for Hospitality, Wellness and Tourism<\/a> in Bled. On the last day of the study visit, the project participants visited the BIC-KULT316<\/a> center in Ljubljana, where they were introduced to the work of the institution and a lecture held by the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education – NAKVIS<\/a> and the Institute of Vocational Education and Training – CPI<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The project coordinator is the University of Novi Sad, and the partners are the University of Montenegro (Economics, Electrical Engineering, Maritime and Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality), University of Applied Sciences FH Joanneum Graz, Higher Education College Academia Maribor, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, The Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, the Chamber of Commerce as well as the companies Voli Trade doo, Crnogorski Telekom AD Podgorica, Montenegro Stars Hotels Group, Uhura Solutions and Crnogorska plovidba AD in which the pilot project will be implemented.<\/p>\n
