Fourth Transnational Meeting within the CRED4TEACH Project

Representatives of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, Jelena Đukanović, Senior Advisor for Quality Assurance, and Svetlana Furtula, Senior Advisor for IT affairs, participated in the fourth transnational meeting within the CRED4TEACH project (MOOC-based micro-credentials for the professional development of  teachers), which was held in Tallinn, Estonia.

Meeting participants presented institutional and national infrastructure for the pilot implementation of MOOC-based micro-credentials, shared progress in technical development, discussed project dissemination activities, and outlined plans for communicating project outcomes to a broader audience. The discussion also addressed the long-term goals of the project, opportunities for further development, sustainability, and wider impact.

The representatives of ACQAHE actively took part in the analysis of supporting documents related to the presentation of academic, technical, and administrative infrastructure, both at the institutional and national level. The focus was on analyzing challenges and solutions related to infrastructure requirements for implementation, as well as identifying specific needs for successful project realization in diverse contexts.

The most important conclusion of the meeting was that legal constraints for the implementation of MOOC-based micro-credentials still exist. However, it was agreed that the accreditation of micro-credentials within the framework of lifelong learning should be considered, along with the enhancement of existing infrastructure and the development of new technological solutions to support their implementation.
