Throughout the year, the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education has an open public call for applications for the list of experts from which expert commissions for accreditation of study programs or re-accreditation of higher education institutions are selected.
Calls for the selection of experts are open for:
- Academic staff
- Students
- Representatives of the economy
ACADEMIC STAFF
The criteria on the basis of which the selection for the list of experts is made are:
- Possession of a scientific or academic title
- Proven expertise and training in relevant subject areas
- Work experience in relevant subject areas
- Proven experience in ensuring the quality of higher education
- Experience in management positions in higher education institutions
- Experience in participating in projects in the areas of their expertise
- The most important awards / recognitions / achievements in the field of expertise
- The most important memberships in the relevant bodies in the field of expertise
- Knowledge of English and other languages

STUDENTS
Following the recommendations set out in European standards and guidelines, the Agency, in the process of re-accreditation of higher education institutions, as a mandatory member of the committee that will perform the evaluation, includes a student. The student is selected from the list of experts – students.
The criteria on the basis of which the selection for the list of experts for students is made are:
- The registered student must be in the final year of undergraduate, master’s or doctoral studies
- Must be recognized for excellence and regularity in studying
- Experience in the process of accreditation of study programs and re-accreditation of institutions
- International experience, additional training, member of the association (student organizations, etc.)
- Experience in quality assurance in higher education
- Knowledge of English and other languages
In addition to the application, students are required to submit a motivation letter stating the reasons for applying, key recommendations for improving the quality of higher education in Montenegro (in their opinion) as well as contributions and expectations from participating in the expert team for reaccreditation.

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ECONOMY
In the procedures of re-accreditation of higher education institutions, one member of the committee may be an expert in the field of labor market, selected by the Agency from the list of experts – representatives of the economy.
The criteria on the basis of which the selection for the list of experts is made are:
- Possession of a scientific and / or academic title
- Proven expertise and training in relevant subject areas
- Work experience in relevant subject areas and experience in management positions
- Experience in ensuring the quality of higher education
- Additional training and the most important memberships in the relevant bodies in the field of their expertise
- Knowledge of English and other languages
