The first training for experts serving on accreditation committees for study program accreditation and higher education institution reaccreditation was successfully held at the premises of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro. The training was organized by the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education.
The training was conducted by Ana Rutović, Senior advisor for accreditation and reaccreditation; Dajana Pavićević, Senior advisor for quality control; and Kemal Demirović, Senior advisor for institutional evaluation. Participants included representatives from academia, industry, and the student population.
Acting Director Tatjana Ćalasan opened the training and emphasized its key objectives, which included providing support to experts during the evaluation of study programs and higher education institutions, as well as creating a platform for sharing best practices and exchanging experiences.
Participants had the opportunity to become familiar with the evaluation process, including the standards and guidelines for study program accreditation and institutional reaccreditation, as well as details regarding the formation and role of expert committees. Additionally, through simulation exercises, they explored real-life examples and successfully completed the training.
Experience in evaluation practices was shared with participants by Nedeljko Latinović, PhD, from the University of Montenegro and Danilo Bulatović from the University of Donja Gorica. They expressed satisfaction with their collaboration with the Agency and welcomed the opportunity to address future members of expert committees.
