Accredited basic academic study program “Chemistry”

The Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education approved on November 1, 2024, the issuance of a certificate of accreditation of the basic academic study program entitled “Chemistry” within the University of Montenegro.

The program was evaluated by an independent expert commission, whose composition consisted of prof.  Aldina Kesić from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Tuzla, in the capacity of president of the Commission, prof. Natalija Polović, from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade and prof.  Anita Grozdanov from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje, University of St. Cyril and Methodius, who were members of the Commission.

The basic study program “Chemistry” aims to enable future students to acquire knowledge, skills and competences in all chemical fields, but also to respond to the needs of the educational system in Montenegro, especially the lack of adequately trained chemistry teachers in primary and secondary schools.

The Decision and Report on accreditation of the study program are available on the Agency’s website.
