The Director of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Goran Danilović, met today in Belgrade with the Director of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia (NEAQA), Prof. Dr. Nebojša Zdravković.
The meeting focused on improving cooperation between the two institutions in the process of obtaining full membership in the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). The interlocutors noted that there are numerous shared topics and challenges in this field, as well as inherited regional problems within the higher education system.
Director Danilović informed his Serbian counterpart about the challenges faced by the Agency in Montenegro, particularly in view of the issue of fraudulent diplomas affecting citizens and institutions in the country. Although this area is not within the Agency’s direct jurisdiction, the consequences and challenges it entails are common to all relevant institutions in the region.
During the meeting, Director Danilović invited Director Zdravković to pay an official visit to the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Montenegro, with the aim of launching joint initiatives and intensifying regional cooperation. Representatives of NEAQA will visit Montenegro at the end of January 2026.
