Reaccredited Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature

The Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education is on 29.04.2024. issued a decision on the reaccreditation of the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature.

The institution was evaluated by an independent expert commission, whose composition consisted of:

  • Prof. Phd. Jelena Petković from the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac, in the capacity of President of the Commission,
  • Prof. PhD. Lidija Tanturovska from the Krste Misirkov Institute for the Macedonian Language, Cyril and Methodius University, member of the Commission,
  • Prof. Phd. Biljana Oklopčić from the University of Josip Juraj Štrosmajer, member of the Commission,
  • Mr. Ammar Miraščija from the Department of Science at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, member of the Commission and
  • Mr. Marko Komšo from the doctoral study program in International Relations, University of Zadar, member of the Commission.

The Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature offers two study programs:

  • basic study program “Montenegrin Language and literature” and
  • master study program “Montenegrin language and literature”.

The main goal of the study programs at the institution is to educate students in the area of ​​the Montenegrin language, following international standards, in such a way as to enable students to connect with related institutions of higher education abroad, as well as connect with domestic, regional and international institutions. Also, one of the goals of the study programs at the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature is to provide conditions for the realization and development of scientific research work by developing publishing activities in the field of Montenegrin literary and linguistic studies.
