Representatives of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, led by the Deputy Director MSc Tijana Stanković, have been in study visit to the Italian National Agency for the evaluation of universities and research institutes ANVUR in Rome on 13th May.
During the study visit, they discussed quality assurance procedures in the field of higher education, the methodology used, as well as preconditions for becoming member of ENQA and registration in the EQAR and the benefits of that memberships.

Representatives of the Agency took the opportunity to get useful guidance from the Italian colleagues on concrete examples and experiences, through an interactive discussion, on the application of European Standards and Guidelines. In the course of the conversation, representatives of ANVUR held presentations regarding the procedures for evaluation and accreditation of study programs and higher education institutions, research on the socio-economic impact of higher education, as well as on the quality of research in postgraduate programmes.
At the end of the meeting, the future cooperation between these two agencies was agreed both in the application of concrete solutions and in connection with future joint projects on improving the quality of higher education.
