In accordance with Article 42 of the Law on Higher Education (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, Nos. 44/14, 52/14, 47/15, 40/16, 42/17, 71/17, 55/18, 3/19, 17/19 – other law, 47/19, 72/19, 74/20, 104/21, 86/22, 125/23, 33/24, and 88/24), and Article 3 of the Rules on the Procedure for Reaccreditation of Higher Education Institutions, No. 01-607/23-409/1 of November 22, 2023, the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education adopts the Reaccreditation Plan for Higher Education Institutions for the year 2026.
However, upon reviewing the register of accredited study programs and Reaccredited Higher Education Institutions maintained by the Agency, it has been established that the Plan for 2026 does not foresee the implementation of reaccreditation procedures for higher education institutions, due to the fact that the validity period of reaccreditation does not expire for any institution during that calendar year.
Outside the scope of this Plan, an institution may be reaccredited upon the proposal of the competent minister or at the request of the authorized body of the institution undergoing reaccreditation.
