Agency Representatives Attend Cybersecurity Training in Maribor

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Enhancing Cybersecurity of Higher Education Systems in Montenegro” (CSupMNE), Agency representatives Milan Šuković, Senior Advisor II for Public Procurement, and Kemal Demirović, Senior Advisor III for Evaluation of Higher Education Institutions, attended a training program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics in Maribor.

During the intensive three-day program, participants had the opportunity to learn more about acceptable use policies for IT resources, understanding risks in higher education institutions, risk assessment standards and policies, information security risk management policies, cybersecurity incident response policies, and many other topics in the field of cybersecurity. The interactive approach, along with practical case-based exercises, made the training particularly engaging and beneficial.

The lectures were delivered by professors from partner institutions: Dr. Ines Kožuh and Irena Lovrenčič Držanič (University of Maribor), Dr. Iryna Bashynska and Dr. Jerzy Duda (University of Krakow), Dr. Slavko Gajin (University of Belgrade), Niels Schneider (Furtwangen University), as well as Gorazd Božič (SI-CERT).

In addition to the Agency representatives, the training was also attended by representatives of the University of Donja Gorica, the University of Montenegro, the University of Mediterranean, the Adriatic University, the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and the Institute of Contemporary Technologies of Montenegro.
