On May 13, 2026, the Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education approved the issuance of the accreditation certificate for the basic academic study program entitled “Environment and Sustainable Development” within the Faculty of Technology at the University of Montenegro.
The program was evaluated by an independent expert Commission whose composition consisted of prof. dr. Dragana Štrbac from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in the capacity of President of the Commission, prof. dr. Nenad Mitrović from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, and prof. dr. Jasmin Suljagić from the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, who were members of the Commission.
The basic study program “Environment and Sustainable Development” aims to equip students with knowledge and competencies in the field of environmental protection in accordance with the concept of sustainable development, while keeping pace with the needs of both the national and regional labor markets.
