The standard applies to study programs whose exit qualification is a teacher (teacher, professor, etc.), namely a subject teacher in primary and secondary schools. In the process of accreditation and reaccreditation, such programs should meet all the basic standards for the accreditation of study programs and this additional standard. Through implementation of the standard and its evaluation, institution ensures a better application of key competencies in the Montenegrin education system. Four of the six criteria contained in the standard are eliminatory, which means that if they are not met, the institution loses the possibility to accredit the study program. The standard was developed within the project “Integration of key competences in the Montenegrin education system”.
