On June 12, 2026, the Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education approved the issuance of a certificate of accreditation for the basic academic study programme in English entitled “Management in Tourism and Hospitality”, within the Faculty of Tourism at the “Mediterranean” University, Podgorica.
The program was evaluated by an independent expert Commission whose composition consisted of prof. dr Janez Mekinc from the Faculty of Tourism Studies – Portorož – TURISTICA, University of Primorska, in the capacity of President of the Commission, prof. dr Milan Ivkov from the Faculty of Sciences (Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management), University of Novi Sad and prof. dr Mira Pavlinović from the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Split, who were members of the Commission.
The undergraduate academic study programme in English, “Management in Tourism and Hospitality”, has the primary objective of providing students with comprehensive, high-quality and professionally oriented education for a wide range of positions in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Graduates are qualified to work in public and private institutions and companies, as well as in other social and cultural organizations where the knowledge and competencies acquired through this study programme are required.
