The Council of Europe has published an Analysis of the Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and the Law on Academic Integrity as a part of the project “Quality Education for All”.
The Analysis deals with an overview of the existing legal bases that are important for the establishment, application and implementation of the principles and values of academic integrity in higher education. In addition, the analysis identified the challenges that all participants in the higher education system face when it comes to the principles of academic integrity, both at the level of policy making and at the institutional level.
The aim of the analysis is to examine the existing mechanisms, to identify the relevant actors and their involvement and responsibility, as well as the ways in which the principles of academic integrity can come to life through the promotion of values.
Through the analysis, specific recommendations were formulated for raising awareness, assuming responsibility and introducing mechanisms for applying the value of academic integrity in the higher education system.

We would like to remind you that in mid-July 2022, the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education adopted a supplementary standard on academic integrity in the process of reaccreditation of higher education institutions, which was developed through the “Quality Education for All” project with support of the Council of Europe .
