A two-day meeting was organized in the rector’s building of the University of Montenegro on May 15th and 16th, 2024 in the framework of the project called UniValens (Overcoming Cross-border Educational Programs Recognition and Equivalence limitations). The project is implemented by the Faculty of Dramatic Arts – Cetinje, University of Montenegro, in cooperation with the University of Arts in Tirana, Albania and “Aldo Moro” University from Bari, Italy.
The meeting was attended by national and international participants who presented their institutions and discussed the conformity of standards and procedures in the accreditation of study programs. ACQAHE was presented by Jelena Đukanović, employed in the quality assurance and research sector. The presentation presented quality assurance in higher education through institutional procedures of the (re)accreditation process. The engagement of ACQAHE through international relations, the level of compliance with ESG standards and research activities was presented.
The purpose of the working meetings was to implement the first phase of the UniValens project, in which ACQAHE provided a major contribution by presenting legislation and procedures for (re)accreditation procedures. ACQAHE ‘s presentation to international partners was significant for the comparative analysis of administrative and legal procedures in order to potentially create joint diplomas at the master’s level of education that would be valid in Italy, Albania and Montenegro.
