The heads of the leading European institutions in the field of quality assurance of higher education Mr Christoph Grolimund and Mr Karl Dittrich will pay a two-day visit to Montenegro on April 17th and 18th, at the invitation of the Agency for Control and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, in order to promote the progress of Montenegro in this area and harmonize with the policy defined in the European Higher Education Area.
On that occasion, the Agency will organize a Round Table on the topic of „Implementation of European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Montenegro“.
A consistent application of the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) represents a demanding process and necessary precondition for improving the quality of higher education in Montenegro, making it compatible with the European, and providing Montenegrin Agency’s full membership in the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) as well as listing in European Quality Assurance Register for the Higher Education (EQAR).
Besides presidents of ENQA and EQAR Mr Christof Grolimund and Mr Karl Ditrih, the Round Table will bring together all the key stakeholders in the quality assurance system in Montenegro who are implementing European Standards and Guidelines.
Further, on the next day, the presidents of the european associations together with representatives of the Agency, will meet Minister of Education Damir Šehović and discuss the key challenges that Montenegro faces in this area.
